Montana's Baptism

We arrived back in SD last week after a whirlwind of a trip to the West Coast. Our first order of business was to drive to BC to see our friends and church family. Montana was baptized at our Langley church - the Bridge - and it was so special to have William, our good friend, baptize Montana. We connected with a few friends, but there wasn't enough time to connect with everyone that we wanted to. After a quick weekend in Langley, we headed to Seattle and met lots of great new friends and got to hang with great "old" friends. Then it was off to California where we spent 4 days meeting church planters and checking out the area (I'll leave those details for Aaron to share). Montana was a trooper the whole trip...she slept beautifully and was adored by many people. She has now been in 5 states and 2 countries - welcome to your life, Montana!!

West Coast Tour

Well folks, we're off again. Starting early tomorrow morning the young Walters triad will be flying from South Dakota to Seattle, where our west coast tour will begin. On this 10 day trip we will be interviewing with potential churches to see if there is a love connection. They'll look to see if we're a good fit for them, and we'll see if they're a good fit for us. Before the business begins, we are heading up to our old stomping grounds in BC, where Montana will be baptized at our home church in Langley. This should be super cool, and we are looking forward to hanging with old friends. Then Monday, we start the Seattle end of our business, talking with church planters there and around Washington. We'll hang with friends a bit there as well. Then Thursday it's off to the Sacramento area where we'll be meeting church planters in the area for a a few days, after which we fly back home to SD. We've already experienced the hospitality of people we will meet, and are encouraged by the blessing to be provided by old friends in BC and Seattle. Pray for our trip, that God would lead us to where He would have us serve Him.

Another picture...it was fun to see my Grandma hold and sing to Montana on Christmas Eve.
