Montana's first trip to the zoo...

Is she excited about the zoo or what???

Mom and Montana with the Okapis in the background

So, I guess this is the kind of stuff that you do when you have kids. I know she didn't know the difference, but I sure had a blast with my niece and nephew and sister-in-law!!

Simplicity

This here is one of the simple pleasures in my life. I thoroughly and completely enjoy my morning cup of coffee. As an old co-worker once said..."Tea is a limp handshake, while coffee is a warm embrace." There is NOTHING quite like a warm embrace to start a new day.

Family and more family

The great thing about our time of transition is lots of time with family - it's definitely making up for lost time!!

Welcome to the world of blogging

My dad recently made a career change and became president of Mission of Mercy, a child sponsorship ministry. Aaron and I sponsor two children, Bheki & Thuli, in Swaziland through this incredible organization. Dad has started blogging about some of his experiences and stories of children he has met all over the world. If you know me and you know my Dad, you should be impressed that I had to introduce HIM to the world of blogging. Check out his blog here. Welcome to the world of blogging, Dad!!

The big event

Montana rolled over for the first time yesterday! She hates being on her stomach, so I am sure that is what motivated her to roll from her tummy to her back. Everyone says that I need to write these things down, so that is why I am writing about it on the blog. It's like Montana's little baby book for everyone to see.

Who knew that something so simple as rolling over would make Montana's parents so proud!!
